JCPenney Casual Basics Try On

TGIF, friends! Since my last try on got such great feedback, it's definitely something I want to start incorporating into my blog and doing on a regular basis! This week I decided to go to JCPenney, which is somewhere that I hadn't been in YEARS. I've seen a lot of other bloggers posting about how cute some of their stuff is, so I decided to give it a try!

The majority of what I found there was cute basics, so I decided to do more of a jeans and t-shirt basics try on. There wasn't much there that I would wear that I would have considered business casual.

Tie dye is huge right now, and I still can't decide how I feel about the trend, which is why I loved this subtle pink tie dye! It wasn't too over the top so I definitely would buy this. The fabric is a pretty thick material so it isn't see through, and only $7.99 right now! A bargain all around. They also have 24 other colors and patterns, so I would definitely stock up on this spring staple!

I've been on the hunt for a good quality, cute utility jacket - and I FINALLY FOUND ONE! I seriously am so glad I went in to JCPenney because I got this $70 jacket for $17.49! I just checked the price online and there's another discount on top of that, so now it's only $13.99! If you know me, you know I'm the queen of bargain shopping, so this made me super happy. I love that you can throw it on over a t-shirt or long sleeve and it just makes the outfit. It's also really great quality which is amazing for the price you're paying.

I just realized that I really need to start putting my shoes back on when I do my try ons...haha! This tee is a super cute basic, but I'm loving these jeans! They're boyfriend jeans but are super comfortable, have a good amount of stretch, and are only $22 right now. They're really great quality! I usually wear an 8, but they only had a 10. These fit, but I probably could have gone down to an 8 if they had a pair of them!

Here are the boyfriend jeans in a different wash and my $17 jacket styled with a white striped t-shirt! I love stripes, so this was right up my alley. I'm really surprised with the quality of these clothes compared to the cost- this shirt is on sale for $10.49 right now, and it's really nice. The only thing I will say, is that it's slightly shorter than I thought it would be. Not quite cropped, but not super long - there wasn't much to tuck in. I also liked that the v-neck wasn't super low!

This is probably one of my favorite shirts from the try on, and I'm kicking myself for not buying it that day! When I tried it on, it wasn't on sale so it was $30, which is pretty steep for a t-shirt in my opinion. It's now on sale for $17.59, which is way more affordable! It's a really lightweight fabric, but it isn't see through which is great, because sometimes with white shirts you can see right through them. It has a really pretty bright pink stripe on it, which I love! Pink is my favorite color (as you can probably tell!)

I hope you enjoyed this try on! Let me know any other stores you may want me to go to, or if you end up buying anything from this blog post - I would love to hear how you liked it!
